Max Skinner, an ambitious London stockbroker, travels to the French Provence to sell a small property he inherited from his uncle. However, what starts as a quick business trip turns into a personal revelation as he begins to rediscover the pleasures of a simple life and falls in love with the region and a local woman. Directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe and Marion Cotillard, this film is a charming story about second chances and the pursuit of happiness.
