«The Office: la serie completa» is the comedy television series by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (2001, BBC), starring Gervais, Martin Freeman and Lucy Davis, released on DVD by Cameo Media in 2008.
The series follows the daily lives of employees at a paper company in Slough; David Brent, their boss, thinks he is the funniest man in the world and only manages to create awkward situations. Amid the tedium, secret romances and the aspirations of its workers, the camera of a mockumentary portrays office life with dry humour and moments of tenderness. It was a BBC phenomenon and gave rise to the American version.
