«The Office: A Empresa – 1ª Temporada» is the first series of the BBC comedy created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in 2001, on DVD.
The plot follows the daily life of employees at a paper sales office in Slough. Their boss, David Brent, thinks he is a charismatic leader, but his ineptitude and desire to be liked constantly provoke cringe-worthy situations. The mockumentary portrays the team's quirks, hierarchies and frustrations with uncomfortable humour.
First series of the British show The Office; the BBC DVD edition features audio in English.
For viewers who enjoy cringe comedy, mockumentaries and office stories.
