«El crimen de Cuenca» is the film by Pilar Miró (1980), starring Amparo Soler Leal, Héctor Alterio and Daniel Dicenta, on DVD.
Reconstruction of the real case of Gregorio Valero and León Sánchez, two peasants from Osa de la Vega accused in 1913 of the death of shepherd José María Grimaldos. The film follows their trial and conviction, and the pressure from the town, until the supposed victim reappears years later. It was one of the last titles censored in Spain.
