3-episodes TV miniseries adapted from the homonymous novel by Leopoldo Alas "Clarín", a masterpiece of 19th century Spanish realism. The series, directed by Fernando Méndez-Leite, features a star cast including Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, Héctor Alterio, Juan Luis Galiardo and Carmelo Gómez. The plot unfolds in the imaginary city of Vetusta (Oviedo), a symbol of anachronistic and oppressive traditions, where hypocrisy and intolerance make Ana Ozores' life unbearable and tragic.
