Biography

Lee Patrick Strobel is an American Christian author, Baptist pastor, professor, and a former investigative journalist. He has written several books, including four that received ECPA Christian Book Awards and a series which addresses challenges to the veracity of Christianity. He also hosted a television program called Faith Under Fire on PAX TV and runs a video apologetics web site.

Lee Strobel began his career as a spiritual skeptic while working as the legal editor for the Chicago Tribune.

His academic background includes a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law from Yale.

Following his conversion to Christianity in 1981, he dedicated his career to writing about apologetics and faith.

He is the author of the acclaimed work The Case for Christ, where he applies his journalistic rigor to investigate the figure of Jesus.

Throughout his prolific career, he has published over two hundred works focused on the defense of the Christian faith.
