Vonne van der Meer was born in Eindhoven in 1952 and has built a prolific career with 22 published works.

Her passion for theater began during an exchange year in the United States, where she took her first acting classes.

She received her professional training at the prestigious Amsterdam Theatre School, specializing in stage direction.
