«Visc a Polònia: El nou costumari català» is a humour book by Toni Soler, published by Columna CAT in paperback, with 120 pages in Catalan.
A satirical tour of Catalonia's customs: alongside real traditions such as the Three Kings' gifts, the Patum or the Castanyada, others appear that are invented, like the war of black olive stones in Solsona or the aquatic Corpus mass in Breda. The contrast between the real and the invented serves to ironise about Catalan identity and quirks.
Published on 25 November 2010; the cover announces the 2011 pull-out calendar.
For readers who enjoy social satire and the humour of Toni Soler, linked to the TV3 programme Polònia.
