This book explores the life of Jesus Christ, presenting him not as a myth, but as a historical figure who lived in Palestine in the 1st century. It details the facts of his existence, the Jewish culture in which he grew up, and the places he traveled. The evangelists narrate with veracity the facts and words of the Lord, helping us to know and love the figure of Christ. This edition includes new references from Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, as well as annexes and a thematic index. It is an invitation to contemplate Jesus Christ with piety and love, finding in Him an ever new and inexhaustible face.
Francisco Fernández Carvajal or Francis Fernandez was a Spanish Catholic priest in the Opus Dei Prelature and the author of several books.
