«Vatenguerre roi des nuls» is Martyn Beardsley’s children’s novel, published by Milan Jeunesse as a French-language paperback.
Vatenguerre, a knight in armour and a crown, aspires to be king even though, according to the cover, he is the most useless knight in the universe. The story follows his comic and nonsensical misadventures in a medieval world, surrounded by absurd objects and increasingly far-fetched situations.
It belongs to the «Éclat de rire» collection by Milan Jeunesse, in its Poche Cadet+ line. The cover features the names of Martyn Beardsley and Frédéric Pillot.
Intended for young readers starting to read in French and looking for a short, humorous and visual story.
