«Utopia» is the political philosophy essay by Tommaso Moro, published by Newton Compton in paperback (100 pages, in Italian).
In this philosophical satire, the traveller Raphael Hythloday describes the island of Utopia, an imaginary community without private property and with life organised in common. His account allows Tommaso Moro to contrast the injustices of the Europe of his time with an alternative model based on reason and equality.
Complete edition in Italian, with translation and editing by Franco Cuomo, in the Tascabili Economici Newton collection. The work was originally published in 1516.
For readers of political philosophy and for those approaching utopian thought.
