«Confessioni. Antologia essenziale» is an anthology of the Confessions of Saint Augustine, published by Demetra in paperback (192 pages, in Italian).
Anthology of passages from the Confessions, a work Augustine wrote already as bishop of Hippo in an act of humility: he exposes his weaknesses, falls and sins so that his virtues may be attributed to divine grace and not to himself. The work goes beyond that purpose and is a foundational text of Western spirituality.
Belongs to the Acquarelli collection by Demetra. Translation by Giovanni Giolo. Published on 14 June 2006.
For readers interested in spirituality, theology or philosophy, and for anyone wanting a first approach to the Confessions of Saint Augustine.
