On a ski lift in the Swedish resort of Åre, in the Jämtland mountains, a frozen body is discovered. In the snow, a wool scarf. Hanna Ahlander, recently fired from the Stockholm police (and dumped by her boyfriend), leads the investigation with Inspector Daniel Lindskog. Between the rebel haunted by her failures and the young father overwhelmed by his work, a connection forms. But will they manage to solve this case, which is darker and more complex than it seems? What is hidden behind this luxury setting?
