«Trois tours de renard» is a children's story by Paul François, published by Flammarion in paperback (31 pages, in French).
The book gathers three tricks of Renart, the sly fox of the medieval tradition, and shows how he uses his wits with other animals. The adaptation, intended for young readers, preserves the playful tone of the fables and presents Renart in a winter landscape, alongside a snake.
The text is by Paul François, the illustrations are by François Davot, and the work belongs to Flammarion's Cadet Castor collection.
Intended for young readers who are beginning to explore animal fables and want to discover the character of Renart.
Paul François is a French agricultor and author, who has been decorated with the Legion of Honour. He is notable chiefly because he demonstrated to a court of law that he was poisoned by a Monsanto product, a formulation of "Lasso" herbicide with the active ingredient Alachlor.
