Tiro libre

Synopsis of Tiro libre

«Tiro libre: Historias de deporte para falar de política» is the essay by Julio Torrado, published by Galaxia in paperback (186 pages, in Galician).

Sport, as pure behaviour, shows without filters how we react to tensions, challenges, successes and failures; politics is similar. With a provocative eye and numerous anecdotes, it explores parties' contradictions, impure decisions and electoral frustrations, discovering in them the hopes that survive.

Published in 2025, with a prologue by Xoaquín Fernández Leiceaga, in the Ensaio collection (no. 142).

For essay readers interested in sport and politics who enjoy a close, anecdotal approach.
