«The White House in Miniature» is the photo book by Gail Buckland and John Zweifel, published by W. W. Norton & Company in hardback (204 pages, in English).
With two hundred colour photographs, the book shows the 1/12 scale replica of the White House built by John and Jan Zweifel after more than thirty years of research. It tours its rooms and craftsmanship: tiny working telephones, hand-carved furniture and rugs sewn stitch by stitch, bringing the building's history closer.
Photographs by Kathleen Culbert-Aguilar and foreword by Gerald and Betty Ford. First edition of 1994; the original subtitle mentions the replica by John, Jan and the Zweifel family.
For those interested in the White House, architectural photography and scale models.
