«The First Third Wish» is Ian Beck's children's fantasy story, published by WordUnited in paperback (96 pages, in English).
Cobweb, a newly graduated fairy, loses the third of three wishes she was meant to deliver to a woodcutter. Young Dickon finds it and, since a lost wish can be used without limit, shiny cats and bottles of magical lemonade appear. Cobweb must retrieve it to stop the chaos, while Dickon and Princess Isabella seek their happy ending.
The work belongs to the Little Gems collection, published on 15 September 2013.
Suitable for children aged 5 and up; its easy-to-read typeface also makes it appropriate for early readers.
