«The Devil Wears Prada» is the fiction novel by Lauren Weisberger, published by HarperCollins in paperback (391 pages, in English).
When Andrea Sachs enters the offices of Runway magazine, she knows nothing about the fashion world or its all-powerful editor, Miranda Priestly. Hired as an assistant, she soon discovers a job of absurd demands, endless hours and constant humiliation, while deciding how far she is willing to go to turn that opportunity into her big career break.
It is the first instalment of the The Devil Wears Prada series. It inspired the film starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

Lauren Weisberger is an American writer. She is author of the 2003 bestseller The Devil Wears Prada, a roman à clef of her experience as an assistant to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
