«Teatro mitológico; Autos sacramentales» is the theatre volume by Pedro Calderón de la Barca, published by Castalia in hardback (495 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together a selection of Calderón's dramatic output in two strands: mythological dramas and autos sacramentales, allegorical pieces on religious themes typical of the Hispanic Baroque. In them the author displays his mastery of verse and stage symbolism, combining visual spectacle and theological reflection.
The book belongs to the Biblioteca Clásica Castalia, where it occupies number 53 in the collection, and was published in 2001.
For scholars of Golden Age theatre and readers interested in classical Spanish literature.
