«Tan bonita, Margarita, tan bonita como tú... y otros cuentos en verso» is the collection of verse tales by Rubén Darío (Rey Lear, paperback, 88 pages).
Rubén Darío brings together verse tales passed down from generation to generation until they became part of collective memory with no recollection of their origin. His verbal magic transports the reader to a world of oriental dreams, princesses wounded by love and wonderful fairies, with echoes that influenced poets such as Juan Ramón Jiménez or Antonio Machado.
Fifth title in the Breviarios collection from Rey Lear, in its second edition (2007). Includes 14 illustrations by Gustave Moreau, prologue and text editing by Luis Alberto de Cuenca.
For young readers and for those interested in the modernist poetry of Rubén Darío.
