«Suíte no Hotel Crystal» is the novel by Olivier Rolin, published by ASA in paperback (172 pages, in Portuguese).
Manuscript found in an abandoned suitcase and reconstructed from postcards, maps, menus and forged documents. It recounts episodes in hotels in Coimbra, Buenos Aires, Miami and Tokyo, among femmes fatales, a former colonel turned arms trafficker, a smuggling sailor and spies, and leaves the question: autobiography, adventure novel, or hoax?
Work originally published in French as «Suite à l’hôtel Crystal»; the Portuguese-language edition appeared in April 2006.
For readers of contemporary fiction who appreciate fragmented plots, quirky characters, and the ambiguity between reality and fiction.
Olivier Rolin is a French writer. He won the Prix Femina in 1994, for his novel Port-Soudan.
