«¡Socorro, soy catequista!: Nuevos rumbos en la catequesis» is a catechesis essay by Luis M. Benavides (PPC Editorial, paperback, 128 pages, Spanish).
Luis M. Benavides starts from the idea that catechesis is experiencing an emergency and needs to review its foundations in a context of crisis, doubt and change. He proposes a renewed catechesis, close to people, with a missionary and community spirit, centred on Jesus Christ, capable of humanising the world. The keys are inspired by the magisterium of Pope Francis.
Volume 23 of the Didajé collection; published on 29 November 2013, first edition and first printing.
For catechists, pastoral workers and Christian communities seeking to renew their catechetical practice.
