«Sketchbook Ponzio» is the art and sketchbook of artist Jean-Michel Ponzio, published by Comix Buro in paperback, in French.
It collects a selection of sketches and studies by Jean-Michel Ponzio, a comic artist, with figures in motion drawn with expressive strokes on beige backgrounds with halftone. The work offers a glimpse into the artist's creative process and a graphic style close to illustration and comics, without being tied to a specific series.
The French edition was released in June 2009; the first 900 copies are numbered and signed by Jean-Michel Ponzio.
For fans of comics and illustration who want to understand an artist's creative process, as well as for sketchbook collectors.
