«Si vols, Virgínia, aquesta nit escoltarem Beethoven» is a poetry collection by Jacint Sala i Codony, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (72 pages, in Catalan).
An intimate Catalan poetry collection centred on the figure of Virginia, Beethoven's music and a night by the river. The verses combine memory, emotional nakedness and moonlight in images of lyrical concision, and the reading becomes slow and contemplative.
First edition, published in Barcelona in 1989, in the collection «Els Llibres de l'Escorpí. Poesia» (no. 123). Includes a prologue by Armand Quintana.
For readers of Catalan poetry and for those interested in the collection «Els Llibres de l'Escorpí».
