«Sexy de la muerte» is Kathy Lette's humour novel, published by Alianza in paperback (480 pages, in Spanish).
Shelly, a very shy English teacher, marries Kit, a not-so-bright American seducer, after meeting on a TV quiz show. Their honeymoon on a remote island gets complicated by infidelities, revolutions and volcanoes; but what unsettles her most is that Kit won't sleep with her. Erotic comedy with an unexpected ending.
«Sexy de la muerte» belongs to Alianza's «Mujeres en la ciudad» collection; the original title is «Dead Sexy» (1997) and the translation is by Elvira Gallego Ruiz de Elvira.
For those seeking a light-hearted romantic comedy with eroticism and absurd situations.
Kathryn Marie Lette is an Australian and British author. She came to prominence with her 1979 novel Puberty Blues.
