«Sabotaje Olímpico» is the mystery novel by Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, published by Planeta Publishing in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
The plot follows detective Pepe Carvalho in a reckoning with 1992: the Gulf War, the Barcelona Olympics and the Seville Expo are left behind in a world that has already forgotten them. In the key of a satirical fable, Carvalho, Biscuter and Charo reappear in a Barcelona in crisis to question memory and modernity.
It is the 16th installment in the Pepe Carvalho series. The novel was originally published in 1993; this Spanish edition appeared in 2002.
For readers of crime fiction and for followers of Pepe Carvalho.
