«Reginald» is Saki's collection of satirical short stories, published by Navona Editorial in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Reginald, an elegant and impertinent dandy, moves through high Victorian society dropping caustic comments on any subject, from a colonial war to hat fashion. His craving for the brilliant phrase turns every situation into a satire of the conventions and rigidity of the era. These are short stories full of wit and humour.
It is the second title in the Breves Reencuentros collection, with translation and prologue by José Luis Piquero. Reginald was originally published in 1904.
For those who enjoy British social satire, epigrammatic humour and classic short stories from the early 20th century.

Hector Hugh Munro, popularly known by his pen name Saki and also frequently as H. H. Munro, was a British writer whose witty, mischievous and sometimes macabre stories satirise Edwardian society and culture. He is considered to be a master of the short story and is often compared to O. Henry and Dorothy Parker. Influenced by Oscar Wilde, Lewis Carroll and Rudyard Kipling, Munro himself influenced A. A. Milne, Noël Coward and P. G. Wodehouse.
