«Querer y formar sacerdotes» is the religious essay by André Manaranche, S. J., published by Desclée De Brouwer in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
André Manaranche analyzes the crisis of vocations to the priesthood and calls on the Church to become aware. The essay proposes desiring and asking God for vocations, since forming them is the task of the bishop and seminary formators. The essay also warns of a crisis of formators and argues that vocational promotion must form good formators.
First edition published in Spain in 1996, in the Cristianismo y Sociedad collection; André Manaranche is a Jesuit.
Work recommended for those interested in spirituality, Christian pastoral ministry, and the formation of future priests.
