"¿Qué fue la Guerra Civil?" (What Was the Civil War?) is a book that offers an alternative perspective on the Spanish Civil War, a conflict that deeply marked the history of Spain. Through its pages, the authors Carlos Fernández Liria and Silvia Casado Arenas, with illustrations by David Ouro, invite reflection on the events and readings of the war, seeking a more complete and critical understanding of this historical period. The book offers an alternative account in light of aspects and readings of the war that must be taken into account for its perfect understanding. Being equidistant, when it comes to victims and executioners, consists of identifying the former and pointing out the latter.
