«Primavera de luto» is a collection of short stories by Spanish writer Juan José Millás, published by Punto de Lectura in paperback (195 pages, in Spanish).
The twenty-three stories in the volume start from domestic scenes and anonymous city characters; suddenly, an ordinary object or a minor detail opens a crack in the real and the fantastic slips into routine. The stories play with logic and surprise to turn the everyday into a strange and suggestive territory.
