«Por qué he matado a Pierre» is the autobiographical graphic novel by Olivier Ka and Alfred, published by Ponent Mon in hardback (112 pages, in Spanish).
Olivier Ka narrates in this graphic novel the sexual abuse he suffered as a child at the hands of a priest, a real episode from his own childhood. The story avoids melodrama and focuses on the anger, guilt and shame that this memory awakens; Alfred's colour illustrations reinforce the intimate dimension of the story.
The work «Por qué he matado a Pierre» received the Audience Award at the 2007 Angoulême Festival; this Spanish edition was published in 2010.
A work for graphic novel readers interested in personal testimonies; recommended for both young people and adults.
