«Poesie» is Eugenio Montale's poetry collection, published by Corriere della Sera in hardback (248 pages, in Italian).
The book brings together two poetic cycles by Eugenio Montale: «La bufera e altro» (1940-1954), written around the Second World War and its devastation, and «Satura» (1962-1970), from a later period. The work thus includes two moments of his career as a poet.
The edition is from 2004 and belongs to the collection «La grande poesia», published by Corriere della Sera.
Eugenio Montale was an Italian poet, prose writer, editor and translator. In 1975, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature "for his distinctive poetry which, with great artistic sensitivity, has interpreted human values under the sign of an outlook on life with no illusions."
