«Plaff!: El llibre de les manotades» is the children's picture book by Jon Burgerman and Núria Riera i Fernández, published by Brúixola in hardback (32 pages).
A book-game in which each page invites a slap before turning it: the onomatopoeia «¡Plaff!» and splashes of colour open the way to new scenes. The illustrations, starring a yellow slap with eyes and a mouth, propose a gestural, comic and participatory reading.
Published on 4 May 2017, within Brúixola's children's and young adult catalogue.
Suitable for early readers and for reading aloud in storytelling sessions, thanks to its participatory structure.
Jon Burgerman is an English artist living in New York, US.
