«Picurruchos» is the children's picture book by Mar Pavón, published by OQO Editora in hardback (40 pages, in Spanish).
The protagonist, Mamá Pimpona, has to feed her hungry pimponciños, but she flatly refuses to use the picurruchos. With a gallery of surreal characters, the story plays with the absurdity of certain prohibitions from a fantastic perspective and ends up bringing a smile to the reader.
Illustrated by João Vaz de Carvalho and part of the O collection from OQO Editora.
Recommended for boys and girls aged 3 to 7, for its humour and surreal characters.
