«Picardie Corps & Âme» is the illustrated book by Sophie de Paillette, with a foreword by Jacques Darras, in paperback (96 pages, in French).
A visual work that traverses Picardy, in northern France, through colour photographs and texts combining history, memory and a poetic gaze. With contributions from specialists and local witnesses, the volume presents the landscape, heritage and identity of the region as a collective portrait, between document and reverie.
First volume of the Territoires Corps & Âme collection. Published in 2008 by Corps et Ame éditions.
For readers interested in illustrated books and French cultural heritage, and for those seeking a visual approach to Picardy.
