«Perrita Country» is the illustrated story by Sara Mesa, published by Páginas de Espuma in paperback (in Spanish).
A young teacher moves into a new house to leave another stage behind; amid the routine, the glances and the silences of a dog and a cat, that life begins to take shape. The story speaks of solitude, everyday bonds and the possibility of finding meaning in small details.
The work, published in 2021, is accompanied by illustrations by Pablo Amargo, National Illustration Award winner.
