«Páginas escogidas» is the anthology by Rafael Sánchez Ferlosio, published by Random House in hardback (400 pages, in Spanish).
A journey through the entire work of Rafael Sánchez Ferlosio: narrator, essayist, columnist, lecturer and author of «pecios» or notes. The collected passages dismantle the prejudice that his prose is difficult: his long sentences are a joyful exercise of reason and language, with humour, sensuality and registers ranging from lyricism to polemic.
The selection was made by Ignacio Echevarría and the volume was published on 16 November 2017.
For readers who want a first approach to Sánchez Ferlosio through a representative selection of his different registers.
