«Oscura trashumancia» is a poetry collection by José Antonio Ramírez Lozano, published by the Diputación Provincial de Málaga in 1997 in paperback.
In «Oscura trashumancia», José Antonio Ramírez Lozano takes transhumance as lyrical material: the seasonal movement of livestock, the sheep and the pastoral world become poetic images. The cover, with two sheep and Egyptian-looking motifs inside a golden oval, underscores that crossover between the rural and the symbolic.
The edition of «Oscura trashumancia» is in Spanish; on its cover appear the name Ibn Gabirol and the epigraph Poesía.
José Antonio Ramírez Lozano is a Spanish author. He won the Spanish Premio Azorín literary award for his 1984 novel Gárgola, and the Spanish Premio de literary award in 2009.
