«Orar con los Salmos» is a book on Christian spirituality and prayer by Andrés Pardo, published by Monte Carmelo in hardback (550 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together the complete Psalter with monitions, psalm prayers and hymns, and offers a scheme for praying the Liturgy of the Hours. It explains that the psalms contain the history of salvation and are a summary of the whole Bible, and underlines their central place in the liturgy, in the Divine Office and in the chants of the Eucharistic celebration.
«Orar con los Salmos» belongs to the Ediciones Populares collection and is the first edition, published in Burgos on 1 July 2007.
Intended for readers interested in Christian spirituality, the liturgy and the praying of the Psalms.
Spanish Catholic priest and liturgist (1939-)
