«Oller davant un boc de cervesa» is the play by Joan Cavallé, published by Cossetània Edicions in paperback (72 pages, in Catalan).
Based on Narcís Oller, the play reflects on the act of writing and the conflict between reality and fiction. Oller, a novelist who drew inspiration from his surroundings, had problems in Valls for portraying his neighbours. On stage, the author is assailed by his characters, each with their own grievance, in a game that evokes Pirandello.
Number 68 of the La Gent del Llamp (Vària) collection. First edition, published on 1 April 2012.
General public interested in theatre and Catalan literature, especially the figure of Narcís Oller.
