Originally published in 1954, 'O Deus das Moscas' is a disturbing and acclaimed novel. The story follows a group of young boys who, after a plane crash on a desert island, must organize themselves to survive. However, as their sense of order crumbles, their fears take primitive forms, facing the harsh reality of survival and the appearance of a being that torments their dreams.
