«No acosen al asesino» is the mystery novel by José María Guelbenzu, published by Punto de Lectura in paperback (416 pages, in Spanish).
In an elegant summer colony near Santander, someone slits the throat of an old Magistrate with a brilliant record during the siesta. No one has seen anything and the crime seems to have no motive. Judge Mariana de Marco takes on the case and focuses her suspicions on a small, select circle of people, in a duel of wits that keeps the mystery until the end.
First installment of the Mariana de Marco series, starring the judge of the same name.
