«Mystère au cirque Alzared» is the activity book by Guy Jimenes and Isabelle Petit-Jean, published by Nathan in paperback (93 pages, in French).

Clément investigates at the Alzared circus the double disappearance of his father, with a cunning dwarf, a bearded lady and a disturbing magician. The book combines the suspense story with exercises in maths, language, history, geography and science; each solved exercise provides clues to reconstruct the plot. It includes solutions and reminders.

Published in 2005, it belongs to the «L'énigme des vacances» collection by Nathan, aimed at the transition from CE1 to CE2. It is illustrated by Jean-Christophe Raufflet.

Designed for children aged 6 to 8 who have finished CE1 and want to revise during the summer.
