«My Picture Dictionary» is Sue Graves' illustrated English dictionary, published by Marks & Spencer in hardback (93 pages, in English).
Organized from A to Z, this illustrated alphabet book introduces basic English vocabulary to early readers. Each entry combines words with colorful drawings featuring classic fairy-tale characters, such as Little Red Riding Hood or the Three Little Pigs, to facilitate the association between term and image.
Published in 2004 within the First Readers collection. The illustrations are by Ruth Galloway, Emma Lake and Kim Blundell, with the collaboration of Betty Root.
It is aimed at children who are beginning to read in English and at early language learning contexts.
