«Musique en herbe» is the activity book for children by Didier Schmitt, published by Editions Milan in paperback (31 pages, in French).
Musique en herbe proposes making homemade musical instruments with materials from the environment and nature. Throughout its pages, children learn to build everything from simple wooden whistles to zithers, maracas or aeolian organs, and to experiment with sounds, rhythms and melodies, both alone and in groups.
It belongs to the «Carnets de nature» collection; it was published in 2002.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 5 interested in music and creating instruments with natural elements.
