«Mujercísimas» is the humour novel by Terenci Moix, published by Planeta in paperback (496 pages, in Spanish).
Terenci Moix delivers a satire featuring only women that combines nostalgia for the sixties with criticism of the cult of success and money. The Virgin Mary announces her appearance to the Greek seer Edipa Katastrós on Patmos, while the wife of an imprisoned banker has a romance on another Aegean island; the commotion ends on a cruise of high-society ladies.
The work was originally published in 1995; this 1999 edition belongs to the Booket imprint.
For readers of satirical fiction in Spanish and followers of Terenci Moix's narrative.
