At Bannockburn University, literature professor E. Robert Pendleton attempts suicide and falls into a coma. A doctoral student, Adi, finds an unpublished novel in the professor's house basement and publishes it; recognition finally arrives. But the fiction hides parallels with the real murder of a girl ten years earlier.
Work translated from English (original title: Death of a Writer, 2006) by Ismael Attrache; the Spanish edition was published in 2007.
Will appeal to mystery and crime fiction readers who appreciate plots set in the academic world and unsolved crimes.
