«Morir del cuento (Novela para representar)» is the play by Abelardo Estorino, published by AADPC in hardback (87 pages, in Spanish).
With the subtitle «novela para representar», the work unfolds a structure that plays with the boundaries between narrative and theatre. The Cuban family is the axis of the conflicts, a constant theme in Abelardo Estorino's dramaturgy.
It premiered in 1983 by the Teatro Estudio group, received a special mention in the «Caut Ferrat» competition in Sitges and the UNEAC dramaturgy prize. It belongs to the Teatre-Entreacte collection.
For those interested in contemporary dramaturgy and 20th-century Latin American theatre.
