«Monasterio» is the historical mystery novel by Andrea H. Japp, published by Algaida Editores in paperback (480 pages, in Spanish).
In 1288, in Alexandria, a merchant receives a saddlebag from a dying traveler and is murdered trying to sell it. Twenty years later, at the abbey of the Claretians, the nun Angélica is found strangled, and Prioress Plaissance de Champlois investigates as more deaths follow; the arrival of the saddlebag's secret connects both cases to Marie-Gillette de Andremont's flight to Spain.
