«Milagros de Nuestra Señora» is the poetic work of medieval writer Gonzalo de Berceo, published by Planeta in paperback (154 pages, in Spanish).
Composed in the 13th century, it gathers miracles attributed to the Virgin Mary and belongs to the tradition of European medieval literature. Gonzalo de Berceo versifies them in cuaderna vía, with a plain style intended to bring Marian devotion closer to a wide audience.
This edition includes an introduction and notes by Vicente Beltrán, professor of Spanish Language and Literature.
For students of medieval literature and readers interested in the origins of Castilian poetry.
